Xtel Communications Announces Nationwide VoIP Channel Program
May 18, 2007
Xtel Communications Inc., facilities-based CLEC and ISP, recently announced its XTRA (Xtel Revenue for Agents) agent channel program. The program launched April 23 after Xtel had finalized its VoIP offerings.
Xtel is looking for telephony agents, data VARs, interconnects and systems integrators nationwide to sell the newly offered Xtel Business Class Hosted PBX and Xtel Business Class IP Trunking. Xtel offers independent agent and master agent options with four tiers of participation: bronze, silver, gold and platinum. The tier placements are dependent on revenue volume, hence increasing the monthly recurring commission rate, which ranges from 10 percent to 20 percent.
Xtel also offers private-label and wholesale programs.
John Tschurjumov, Xtels director of alternate sales channels and emerging markets, said the programs design intent was specifically tailored for the agent business model, offering dedicated customer and agent support, combined with a custom-built online order/commission/billing system.
Xtel also announced its XTRA program early adopter promotion for all agents signed between May 1 and July 1. Prizes will be awarded based on verification of August billings paid by Sept. 24. The awards will be presented at the Fall 2007 Channel Partners Conference & Expo at the companys booth (218). Winners need not be present to receive prizes.
A team of 12 people based at Xtel headquarters in Marlton, N.J., is in place to support the channel. This is the first program of its kind for the company.
