Yealink, maker of UC voice and video endpoints, says that its VC120, a full HD video-conferencing room system, is certified to work with Zoom’s cloud-based video-conferencing service. The news adds Yealink to Zoom’s Technology Partner Program.
The VC120 includes an 18X optical zoom PTZ camera and a 360-degree omni-directional pickup microphone array, for immersive and realistic conferencing experiences. Support for the H.264 high profile and its dynamic adaptive bandwidth adjustment produces smooth conferencing even under fluctuating network conditions.
Zoom’s cloud platform and conferencing solution includes audio, video, group messaging, and content in one virtual “Zoom” meeting room. Thanks to successful interoperability testing, Zoom Rooms can work with other videoconferencing endpoints running on Windows PC, Mac, iOS, Android, and Blackberry, and with other H.323 or SIP conferencing servers.
Yealink’s IP phones and video systems interoperate with a wide range of IP PBXes, softswitches from Metaswitch and Braodsoft, as well as hosted PBX services like Microsoft’s Skype for Business.
