Schoology Raises $32 Million To Bring Personalized Learning to Every Student. Education cloud provider Schoology has secured $32 million in a Series D funding round led by JMI Equity, with participation from FirstMark Capital, Intel Capital and Great Road Holdings. Schoology said it will use the funding to “make product engineering investments to increase the scope and power of its education cloud.”
Mobile Freight Leader Transfix Raises $12m Series A. Transfix has raised $12 million in a Series A funding round led by Canvas Ventures, with participation from Lerer Hippeau Ventures, Founder Collective and Bowery Capital. The mobile and software-enabled trucking brokerage said it will use the funding to accelerate its product development efforts.
Unitive Secures $7.5 Million in Series A Funding to Offer Hiring Platform That Removes Unconscious Bias. Analytics startup Unitive has added $7.5 million in a Series A funding round led by Ignition Partners, with participation from Kapor Capital, Webb Investment Network, Floodgate and Correlation Ventures. Unitive said it will use the funding to enhance its technology and bolster its marketing and customer support.
ATOMIZED Closes a Total of $3.5 Million in Funding, Fueling Build-Out of Omni-Channel Campaign Management Platform. ATOMIZED has raised an additional $2 million in funding, bringing its total financing to $3.5 million. The cloud-based campaign management platform provider said it will use the funding to expand its product and platform integrations.
Cybric Closes $1.3 Million Investment to Virtualize and Automate Security, Speeding Remediation from Months to Minutes. Cybric, which provides a continuous security delivery fabric, has added $1.3 million in seed funding led by Petrillo Capital, with participation from several angel and strategic investors. The company said it will use the funding to bolster its research and development.
