Anittel, which could be Australia’s top independent managed services provider (MSP), is betting heavily on a hosted Cisco Unified Communications/telephony platform to drive growth. The company, among the first to complete our sixth-annual MSPmentor 100 survey, also anticipates growing demand for per user/per month pricing for telephony, mobility and video conferencing services over the long haul.Anittel Director of Product Tim Brewer is a well-known executive within MSP circles. From his home base in Australia, Brewer makes frequent trips to ConnectWise User Groups as well as the annual IT Nation conference, held each year in Orlando, Fla. But Brewer isn’t a one-man business. Anittel has roughly 211 employees, and the company is active in such associations and organizations as HTG Peer Groups, CharTec business training and Service Leadership Inc.
Among the additional names to know within Anittel: CEO Peter Kazacos and Sales Director Michael Cook — who likely ranks among the top MSP rainmakers in Australia.
How do we know? Anittel shared some rather intriguing company data with us; the organization’s recurring revenues are big and growing swiftly. (We’ll share percentage growth rates and potential rankings when the MSPmentor 100 survey results are unveiled in February 2013.)
In the meantime, keep a close eye on Anittel’s Cisco relationship. The company believes its UC platform will drive recurring cloud business for years to come, perhaps driving growing demand for per-user pricing — across telephony, video and UC services — for years to come.
Stay tuned.
