Four solution providers are taking home top honors from the AT&T Alliance Channel.

The channel program recognized 75 partners for their performance in 2017. AT&T held the awards ceremony during its 2018 Alliance Channel Kickoff.

AT&T recognized BCDR Solutions, HLP 1, Presto Tech Solutions and Saturn Wireless as platinum partners, the highest tier. It is Presto Tech’s fourth consecutive year as a platinum winner. Both Presto Tech and Saturn Wireless took top honors when the Alliance Channel first publicized its awards in 2016.

Kevin Leonard, vice president of alternate channels for AT&T, writes that his company recognized award winners based on 2017 fiscal performance in the categories of bronze, silver, gold and platinum.

“Being recognized as a Solution Provider Champion requires a commitment to success. And these are the companies that achieved it,” wrote Leonard, who leads the Alliance Channel. “These companies work tirelessly with other organizations nationwide to identify solutions that support business growth. It’s inspiring to see the success these businesses achieve while leveraging our solutions.”

Leonard spoke to Channel Partners last week about its new master-agent partnership with PlanetOne Communications. The Alliance Channel recently overhauled its system of commissions, deal registration and partner registration. Those changes come as AT&T pushes software-defined and virtualized technologies.

“As we move forward in 2018, I expect we’ll continue to see demand for high-bandwidth connectivity, security and network virtualization,” Leonard said. “Virtualization is blurring the lines between hardware and software. We can now provide more and more capabilities via software. And AT&T is leading in this area. Because we’ve done so much work in the virtualization of our core network, we’re well-positioned to offer the same approach to our customers.”
