Diversity, equity and inclusion in the channel is more important than ever for recruiting new talent as well as attracting clients. NetFortris’ Raquel Wiley presents guidelines for “Building Successful DE&I Strategies” one step at a time.
Competition for top talent is fierce. How can you determine which candidates are the best fit for your organization? Amy Bailey, MetTel’s Corey Cohen and getWise’s Kathryn Rose join forces to provide “Interview Techniques for Identifying Top Talent,” sharing tips for sharpening interview skills and evaluating candidates.
Successful leadership requires exceptional communication skills. And that involves more than just knowing how to put words together to deliver a message. It also requires knowing what to say and who needs to hear it. What are “The Secrets to a World-Class Channel Communications Plan for Your Team and Partner Ecosystems?” Bergamo Marketing Group’s Allison Bergamo, AWS’s Kristin Harlan and WhiteFox Marketing’s Marie Rourke explain it all for you.
Back by popular demand, MSP Toolkit’s Len DiCostanzo presents a two-hour, three-part interactive workshop, “Setting the Stage for Growing a Profitable Recurring Revenue Business.” SP Accelerator workshops. The first session examines how to design and manage a service catalog to help your business grow. The second session looks at keys to pricing and bundling managed services. The third, in collaboration with ConnectWise’s Peter Kujawa, examines profitability metrics.
JS Group’s Janet Schijns presents two back-to-back sessions. The well-known channel thought leader first discusses, “Unstoppable: The Recipe for Women to Achieve More Channel Success,” sharing realities on what it takes for women to climb to the top in the channel. Then she looks at “A Network of Champions: How to Become a Super Connector and Win,” providing tips on building the kind of network that propel a woman’s success in the channel. So in this case at least, it’s all about what you know and who you know.
Actually, it’s only 20 minutes, but in that time, ThreatLocker’s Danny Jenkins covers “Zero Trust for Applications: Protect Vulnerabilities Against Zero-Day Attacks,” presenting information on the latest technology and communications innovations in protection.
The channel landscape is changing for everyone. MSPs and agents alike are surrounded by mergers and acquisitions, leadership and business model changes, changing client expectations and much more. MSP Growth Coalition’s Juan Fernandez, SPK and Associates’ Christine McHale, Cisco’s Michelle Ragusa-McBain and C3 Technology Advisors’ Matthew Toth take an in-depth look at “The New Channel and the Future You.” They discuss the changes taking place in the channel, where they’re leading and what channel partners must do to keep from being left behind.
Landing the sale is just the beginning. Now it’s time to cement the client relationship by making yourself essential. JS Group’s Kris Blackmon shows “How Partners Can Maintain and Deepen Client Relationships” by taking advantage of upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

MSPs, agents and other channel partners are using M&A to sell or scale their businesses, expand their geographical footprint and expand their service stack, among other reasons. In “How M&A Is Reshaping the Channel Partner Landscape,” Channel Futures’ Allison Francis, Meriplex’s Neil Medwed and New Charter Technologies’ Mitch Morgan discuss the state of channel M&A and provide insights on valuations and how to determine if it’s time to sell, buy or hold.
One effective way to compete against the mega-partners being created by channel M&A is to focus on a particular niche. Go deep, not wide. In “Finding Your Niche: Building a Specialty Practice,” Disruptive Innovations’ David Wright examines the various approaches to specialization and what each requires.
The new channel includes a new kind of customer with different expectations and requirements. To stay on top, channel members must prepare themselves not to sell a product, but to sell a solution to a client’s needs. This requires hybrid IT approaches that very well may involve other partners in channel ecosystems. Techaisle’s Anurag Agrawal discusses “Leading Your Organization to the Next Channel and the Power of an Ecosystem” — the new partner imperatives, the importance of ecosystems and the channel of the future.
