Hey everyone, thanks for stopping by for a special Thanksgiving edition of Channel Partner Program Roundup. Here at the VAR Guy, we’re thankful for all of you. In celebration of National Turkey Day, here are some great channel partner news stories from En Pointe Technologies and Carousel Industries for you to be thankful for as you chow down with family this week.
En Pointe Technologies: The Microsoft (MSFT) Licensing Solution Provider and system integrator has achieved platinum status in the Palo Alto Networks (PANW) NextWave partner program. Platinum status is only bestowed on partners “who facilitate significant sales and demonstrate extensive expertise in enterprise security,” according to the announcement.
“The Palo Alto Networks enterprise security platform was built with the prevention of advanced cyberattacks in mind,” said Herb Hogue, senior vice president of Professional Services and Engineering at En Pointe Technologies, in a statement. “By growing and expanding our relationship with Palo Alto Networks, we can continue ensuring that our customers’ computing environments are secure, even with an ever-changing IT landscape.”
The platinum designation denotes En Pointe as one of a select few multi-vendor solution integrators capable of providing customers with a complete security solution to fit their individual needs, according to the company.
Carousel Industries: The unified communications, managed services and security solutions provider has also joined the NextWave partner program, allowing it to sell Palo Alto Networks’ portfolio of enterprise security offerings to its customers.
"Carousel is excited to play an integral role in Palo Alto Networks' channel development strategy as they increase their geographic customer base and secure future growth," said Jeffrey Hewson, National Sales director, Data Networking Group at Carousel Industries. “The Palo Alto Networks’ portfolio—as well as its preventative approach to cybersecurity—help us address the security concerns that each of our customers are facing today."
"Palo Alto Networks is excited to work with Carousel Industries, an integrator that has built its success on mastering voice, video, data and security technologies," added Todd Palmer, vice president of the Americas Channels at Palo Alto Networks. "We look forward to serving customers hungry for a true enterprise security platform.”
We at The VAR Guy would like to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving.
