ConnectWise Expands Consulting Services for VARs, MSPs
ConnectWise is expanding its consulting team to work more closely with VARs and MSPs that are seeking to further automate their businesses. The growing ConnectWise Consulting department has made several hires in North America, with more expansion planned for the United Kingdom and Australia.
The effort goes something like this: Thousands of VARs and MSPs use ConnectWise’s software to manage sales, marketing, customer trouble tickets and other business processes. But small business owners sometimes overlook ConnectWise capabilities that can further automate business processes and improved profit margins.
Or as ConnectWise puts it:
“The expansion of the [consulting] department is a result of both consistent growth in ConnectWise’s partner base and an increased demand for consulting services by long-time partners who are managing growth in their own businesses.”
The consulting department includes:
Nine full-time business consultants in the Tampa office, with four more to be hired in the next quarter, and a remote office in Chicago headed by Chris Romano, the company’s first regional territory consultant.
Forthcoming remote offices in both the UK and Australia to serve international partners.
Two side thoughts: ConnectWise CEO Arnie Bellini mentioned to me a couple of weeks ago that he expects to see synergies between the ConnectWise Consulting team members and the ConnectWise User Groups across North America, Europe and Australia.
Bellini spent much of 2011 visiting MSPs in a consulting capacity. So it’s a safe bet the company has organized and expanded ConnectWise Consulting based on Bellini’s 2011 consulting engagements.
