Friday's Last Word: Bitcasa CEO Brian Taptich — Who is he?
Bitcasa CEO Brian Taptich joined the cloud-based storage solutions provider in September 2013 to replace Tony Gauda, who had stepped down after two years of executive leadership.
Prior to Bitcasa, Taptich was vice president of International Development at Zynga, a San Francisco-based social gaming services provider, where he led the strategic direction and execution of all international initiatives. Before joining Zynga, he was a strategic advisor and investor for Davis Shapiro Media Advisors, where he worked with a range of digital media startups. Taptich has also held senior executive positions in corporate strategy, business development and marketing at BitTorrent and Electronic Arts over the years.
