Futura Healthcare Technology, a technology solutions and managed services provider (MSP), has officially changed its name to Futura Mobility, LLC as part of the company’s expanded services suite. Futura is now offering mobility and IT services in effort to capitalize on the emerging need for mobile security and mobile device management (MDM) solutions. By adding the term “mobility” to its name, Futura is trying to become a recognized name and trusted provider for mobile security solutions among North American enterprise companies.“By offering our own unique Mobile Managed Services Platform, including device design and deployment, asset management and support, Futura Mobility will serve as a complete mobility partner to our clients,” Futura Mobility Chairman Janet DeNicola said in a prepared statement.
Futura is adding to its existing executive team as part of its re-branding effort. Former InfoLogix CEO David Gulian is now CEO of Futura Mobility. Cosmo DeNicola is coming aboard as chief sales and marketing officer (CSMO). Dominic Sambucci is now the company’s COO. Mark Handzlik is now CTO. And Geral Francesco is Futura Mobility’s new senior director of support services.
“The addition of David Gulian and the rest of the experienced executive team will create exciting opportunities for our existing healthcare and enterprise clients and pave the way for continued business growth in the rapid expanding mobile sector,” DeNicola continued.
Futura has obviously caught on to MDM being one of the most in-demand solutions in 2012 and is heavily investing in developing its own offering. Futura also is ramping up production in its Washington, Pennsylvania and Nevada data and technology centers to develop new products, including mobile applications. The company already manages over 250,000 mobile devices and has more than 2,500 healthcare, manufacturing and enterprise customers in North America. Futura’s goal? Grow its sales by 100 percent in 2012.
