GreenPages, the cloud computing and virtualization consulting company, today expanded its consulting team by acquiring LogicsOne. LogicsOne is a virtualization, storage and cloud consulting and management provider that could help GreenPages to strengthen its brand in the Southeastern United States. GreenPages already has physical offices in New York City and Boston. LogicsOne will bring aboard a new Atlanta office under the Green Pages umbrella.

With the LogicsOne acquisition, GreenPages has brought its total number of growth strategy and cross-trained engineers to 60, and they’re going to need them, as LogicsOne also brings aboard 250 new business consulting customers primarily in the southeastern United States.

According to GreenPages CEO Ron Dupler, LogicsOne gives GreenPages the added expertise it has been looking for and needs in order to continue to help GreenPages’ MSP partners deliver “next generation virtualization and cloud management solutions” to their SMB end-users.

The LogicsOne acquisition comes nine months after GreenPages brought aboard Mike Halperin as its VP of managed services. At the time, both Halperin and GreenPages VP of Marketing and Operations Glen Jodion said that the company would focus more narrowly on virtualization and helping MSPs and end-users cut costs while still developing and implementing new cloud computing solutions. To that end, it’s pretty obvious why GreenPages went out and acquired a virtualization and cloud consulting provider. Under the terms of the acquisition LogicsOne will keep its company name but operate under the larger GreenPages company umbrella.
