InPhonex.com LLC (Booth 627), a privately held provider of Internet telephony, announced at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo it is offering resellers a free Linksys PAP2 telephone adapter with new orders for the U.S. and Canada Unlimited plan with quarterly payment.

InPhonex said the incentive allows the company to help its VARs compete against larger companies that started the free device trend.

We did this to break down the barrier of entry for our resellers, said Todd Hirshorn, president of InPhonex, explaining that if a reseller does not want the free phone adapter, the company will provide a bigger discount on the U.S. and Canada Unlimited plan.

InPhonex also has lowered the price of its Brazil Unlimited Plan by 25 percent, rather than including the PAP2 adapter, due to international shipping costs.

InPhonex resellers control their own subscriptions, set their own pricing and even have their own branded SIP Proxy, the company said. These tools allow resellers to compete without having to manage their own infrastructures.
