Kaspersky’s Randy Richard

Richard brings nearly a decade of sales management and leadership experience. As head of enterprise sales, he will oversee and direct Kaspersky’s enterprise sales organization for the United States. In addition, he will drive B2B growth with the Kaspersky United network of channel partners.

“I am excited to lead such a talented team that shows continuous dedication to its customers and partners,” Richard said. “At a time when companies most need comprehensive security solutions, I look forward to providing Kaspersky’s innovative portfolio, along with our threat intelligence services fueled by the distinguished global research and analysis team.”

Richard was a global sales manager at RSA. In that role, he managed the fraud and risk intelligence division.

Here’s our list of channel people on the move in April.

In February, Dell Technologies confirmed it will sell RSA to a consortium led by Symphony Technology Group (STG), Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board and AlpInvest Partners, for more than $2 billion. Look for the transaction to close this summer or fall.

Richard’s new boss, Rob Cataldo, managing director of Kaspersky North America, is happy he’s on board.

“Randy has a proven sales track record and deep understanding of the cybersecurity industry,” said Cataldo. “[That] will be instrumental to the company’s overall B2B growth in the region. As Kaspersky continues evolving its … solutions to meet the ever-increasing needs of the cybersecurity market, Randy’s leadership will help create more business opportunities and drive his team to deliver significant success.”

Last month, Kaspersky introduced a free online security module to help ensure remote workers don’t endanger their businesses. It collaborated with Area9 Lyceum to offer the module, which educates customers on COVID-19 and securely working from home.
