Urrea: Technically my first paid work was doing odd jobs around the neighborhood. I would put flyers up at the neighborhood tennis courts and neighbors would hire me to do yard work, housesit and walk their dogs.
When I reached an age that I could legally work I started bagging groceries at Kroger. I have always had a job since; through high school and college I was doing anything from bussing tables, delivering pizzas or working as a cook. I tried commercial roofing one time and failed miserably. That is incredibly hard work.
The VAR Guy says: You sound like a true Jack of all Trades, sir. Kudos for trying your hand at roofing – we're too scared of heights to even consider that career!
Urrea: I am not so much of a car guy, I usually just buy my wife a new car and take what she was driving before. It would be cool to drive the Batmobile, the DeLorean from "Back to the Future" or the Ghostbusters' station wagon for a week, though.
The VAR Guy says: Only for a week? We would never want to give the Batmobile back!
Urrea: Every year we try to do a week at Disney and a week at Rosemary Beach in the panhandle of Florida. Both great family vacations.
The VAR Guy says: Spending a few days at Disney World is always a good time! Just make sure you budget some time for standing in long lines!
Urrea: Dan Brown’s Robert Langdon series were all phenomenal books. If you’re looking for books that you can’t put down and have to finish in a day or two, then you should read them. Very entertaining.
The VAR Guy says: We love Robert Langdon and all his crazy globetrotting adventures. Saving the world and getting to see famous historical works of art seems like a pretty cool deal to us.
Urrea: We just bought a new house and the one item I had to get was a 65” Sony 4K Ultra HD TV for the family room… it's awesome!
The VAR Guy says: Every household should have a TV this big, at least in our humble opinion.
Urrea: "The Blacklist" is a great show, probably the only one I can’t wait to see every week these days. During football season Atlanta Falcons and UGA football games are must see TV every week as well.
The VAR Guy says: Go Falcons! We can't wait for football season to start up again.
Urrea: I wanted to be a rock star. I’ve always loved music and am lucky to have had the chance to play percussion in bands and at some great venues around the Southeast. I never could make it pay the bills though. That was a childhood dream.
The VAR Guy says: As long as you've got the music in your heart, you can always be a rock star, even if you don't make it big. We bet you could put on a mean concert for channel partners, though!
Urrea: There were so many good comedies in the 80’s and 90’s but for some reason "Beverly Hills Cop" jumps out. It’s hilarious and Axel Foley is probably the coolest character of all time.
The VAR Guy says: Eddie Murphy was on fire in the 80's, and "Beverly Hills Cop" is without a doubt one of his best movies ever.
