Fitzgerald: I delivered newspapers for the Washington Post
The VAR Guy says: A newspaper man, eh? The VAR Guy thanks you for delivering the paper every morning in time for coffee.
Fitzgerald: My dream car is the Bentley Continental GT Convertible
The VAR Guy says: This British beauty is as fast as it is sleek—the Continental GT can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 4.4 seconds and can reach a maximum speed of 195 mph—the perfect car to get you there when you’re late to a board meeting or coffee with a potential partner.
Fitzgerald: Bethany Beach, Delaware
The VAR Guy says: That sounds like a lot of fun. The VAR Guy’s last family vacation consisted of cramming the entire family into a Motel 6 and bringing home lots of little cereal boxes from the continental breakfast bar.
Fitzgerald: “The Organized Mind: Thinking Straight In The Age Of Information Overload,” by Daniel J. Levitin
The VAR Guy says: “The Organized Mind” is acclaimed neuroscientist Dr. Daniel Levitin’s study of success in our modern age of information overload. Levitin is a professor of Pyschology and Music at McGill University in Montreal and has written several popular books, including “This is Your Brain on Music,” and, “The World in Six Songs.” He also has a storied music career, which includes playing guitar and saxophone with Sting as well as producing records for artists such as Stevie Wonder and Blue Oyster Cult. A righteous dude, indeed.
Fitzgerald: Took my entire family, including grandchildren, to a weekend resort for rest, relaxation and family fun time.
The VAR Guy says: We’re impressed that you splurged on someone other than yourself! The VAR Guy loves to see a family man in the channel.
