Vince Tinnirello, CEO, Anchor Network Solutions Inc.

Tinirello has taken Anchor from one employee to 11 and almost $2 million in revenue in just over 10 years. He started a Certified Autotask Consulting practice to help other MSPs that use Autotask improve their businesses. He’s a member of the CompTIA MSP Partners Executive Council, AVG MSP Partner Council, and Autotask Customer Experience Board. Tinirello is committed to participating in CompTIA panels and webinars to help improve MSP education and awareness.

Charlie Tomeo, VP of Worldwide Channels and Technical Sales, Webroot

After more than seven years at Webroot, Tomeo shifted into the channel chief role in January 2013. He is now driving Webroot’s SaaS-based Internet security solutions toward MSPs and VARs, and the company will have a major presence at IT Nation in November 2013.

Paul Tomlinson, Founder, Mirus IT Solutions

Tomlinson built one of the UK’s most successful MSPs over the past decade, all of this whilst continually giving back to our community through CompTIA events along with education events with Kaseya and Autotask. The company expects to add another 20% to turnover and profit this year.

Eric Townsend, Director of SMB and MSP Marketing for the Americas Group, Intel Corp.

Townsend was present at over 10 SMB/MSP industry events and is a frequent guest (at least monthly) at Association Groups (HTG, TruMethods, Robin Robins) as a thought leader in the IT MSP space. Townsend led an extremely innovative concept with the launch of vPro Navigator with intuitive education tools to leverage tools that MSPs already have to leverage in conjunction with remote consoles. He has also recently launched comprehensive B2B marketing and sales tools at no cost for VARs to add strategic value to customers. Eric is an active volunteer at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. During the holiday season he personally shopped for, and delivered gifts and trees to over 10 needy families.

Turner’s Hilltop Consultants servess law firms, trade associations and lobbying firms in the greater Washington DC Metro area, putting a major focus on responsiveness and customer service. Under Turner’s leadership, Hilltop Consultants has doubled its monthly recurring revenue since 2012 and increased its net profit by 500 percent. Turner is also a popular speaker, having presented seminars to the Chamber of Commerce and Association of Legal Administrators Capital Area Chapter.

David Ulevitch, CEO, OpenDNS, Inc.

Ulevitch and his company OpenDNS have made significant investments to deliver security management and prevention innovations that enable MSPs to detect, block and report on web threats that target their customers without having to deploy and manage any hardware or software infrastructure. In 2012, the OpenDNS MSP Program grew customers and revenue by more than 100 percent. To date, 1,400 MSPs have chosen the Umbrella by OpenDNS cloud-delivered security service over traditional Secure Web Gateway appliances. MSPs currently protect more than 20,000 customer networks using the Umbrella service.

Ron Unger, President & CEO WorkSmart Inc.

Unger has led organic growth at WorkSmart, which has accounted for over 80% of WorkSmart’s growth to date. In 2007, short-term projects and product sales accounted for 54% of WorkSmart’s revenues, but Unger has led the company’s customer service focus, and as a result, only 23% of revenues come from those sources today, while 77% of revenues is comprised of long-term IT support contracts. WorkSmart is entirely self-funded, which Unger believes is a the most sustainable model for the long term.
