Netology Hires New Managed Services Director

Netology Technology Services, a managed IT services provider in Stamford, Conn., has hired Gladston Grant as its new director of managed services and support. In his new role, Grant will lead Netology’s IT support department and enable the MSP’s business customers to focus solely on revenue-generating projects.

Grant will be in charge of developing a strategic plan for Netology that includes, among other areas, budgetary planning and control, and process redesign and change management. Overall, Netology hired Grant to help the MSP become more proactive in dealing with the IT challenges that its business customers are facing today, such as mobile device management (MDM). Netology serves the SMB sector where mobile device use is not as rampant compared to enterprise use, but is steadily gaining traction.
