Internet of Things (IoT) solutions and connectivity provider Kore enabled zero-touch provisioning through its new offering.
Kore designed the OmniSIM eSIM solution to make IoT connectivity more seamless and accessible. It enables roaming access on approximately 600 networks.

GTT Communications teamed up with Palo Alto Networks to launch a secure access service edge (SASE) offering.
GTT, which was already partnering with Fortinet and VMware for SASE/SD-WAN, can now combine Palo Alto’s advanced security features with the networking capabilities of CloudGenix, which Palo Alto recently acquired.

Innovative Business Solutions, the Colorado-based solutions brokerage, expanded its portfolio with new connectivity offerings.
Innovative signed a supplier agreement with Altice USA in addition to the Optimum Business and Suddenlink Communications brands that Altice owns. According to CEO Jed Kenzy, only four other partners work with the four largest cablecos (Comcast, Charter, Cox and Altice).
In addition, Innovative signed an agreement with AT&T.

IT management solutions provider ConnectWise announced a new platform.
Asio allows MSPs to manage end users and all their various end points through a single pane of glass. It helps partners remove duplicate engineeringing and streamline the product development cycle.
The vendor made the announcement at its annual IT Nation conference.
RingCentral’s latest partnership spells significant product changes for Mitel customers.
RingCentral signed a $650 million agreement to become Mitel’s exclusive UCaaS partner. As a result, it will offer a migration path for Mitel’s customers to move to RingCentral Message Video Phone (MVP).

AppSmart partners can now sell Dropbox.
AppSmart added the SaaS provider to its marketplace. As a result, partners deepened their portfolio options for backup, sharing and collaboration.
AppDirect, AppSmart’s parent company, will ultimately expand the Dropbox partnership to any of its merchants.

Juniper Networks expanded its technology portfolio in multiple category.
The networking vendor announced two new Wi-Fi 6E access points. It also unveiled an IoT Assurance service, which makes it easier to onboard and secure devices without Network Access Control (NAC).

Avant expanded its connectivity portfolio, signing Logix Fiber Networks.
The agreement gives Avant and its partners the ability to sell a 285,000-mile fiber network and 3,000 on-net buildings. Logix operates in Texas.

Crusoe Energy is enabling cean cloud computing in data centers with its new offering.
The company’s Digital Flare Mitigation platform helps data centers efficiently harness electricity from “stranded energy sources.” The goal is to make provide “unmatched environmental benefits without sacrificing the power of modern data center.”

Cisco is taking advantage of a recent acquisition to provide insights into the hybrid workforce.
The networking vendor last year purchased ThousandEyes. Now it has integrated ThousandEye’s Application Outages feature to its Internet Insights platform.

Microsoft introduced an application that Teams and Office Apps more dynamic.
Microsoft Loop contains shared environments in which groups of workers using Teams and Office can pull various sources. Initially it will operate with Office 365, Outlook, Teams and OneNote.

Cisco joined Fortinet and VMware as a platform partner for an AT&T SASE offering. An executive said the agreement gives AT&T an additional option to offer to customers.

VMware put two of its services in the AWS marketplace in hopes of aiding customers with cross-cloud services.
VMware Carbon Black Cloud and VMware Tanzu now exist in the digital catalogue. Customers can use Tanzu to build apps and use Carbon Black as protection platform. Both are optimized for either AWS or other cloud environments.

OpenText’s purchase of Bricata bolsters its next-generation network detection and response (NDR) technology.
Bricata uses smart sensors to provide visibility into networks and support internal investigations. Its capabilities will combine with OpenText’s endpoint detection and response features.

Ooma unveiled AirDial, which will help customers transition away from legacy copper-wire analog phone service. AireDial harnesses a T-Mobile connection and hardware into a single package. Ooma will meet regulatory compliance due to the fact that it doesn’t not touch the public internet, the company said in a news release.

The rise of the secure access service edge, also known as SASE, has created unprecedented collaboration between telcos and IT providers.
AT&T and Cisco. GTT and Palo Alto. These are just a couple of the technology partnerships that are creating offerings that VARs, SIs, MSPs and agents can deliver to their customers. SASE brings together networking features like SD-WAN into the same platform as advanced cybersecurity features such as zero-trust network access.
