New Offerings: TPx, Avant, Broadvoice UCaaS Updates Hit Channel Partners

TCG
Telecom Consulting Group (TCG) now delivers Avaya's portfolio.
The 5,000 TCG partners can sell the entire Avaya suite, which includes UCaaS, CCaaS and CPaaS. Also, Avaya's channel team will help with pre- and post-sale support.

Synnex
The distributor signed an agreement with Aryaka Networks.
Their new partnership puts the Aryaka managed SD-WAN service on the Synnex Stellr Marketplace. A Synnex executive said the Aryaka product helps channel partners that also resell Check Point and Microsoft products.
"It’s ideal for partners who want to help their customers deliver optimal business-critical application performance while reducing overall connectivity costs with integrated security and management," said Reyna Thompson, Synnex' senior vice president, product management of North America.

TPx
TPx Communications enhanced its UCaaS platform with Cisco WebEx.
The TPx UCx app now includes WebExto. The UCx app combines the TPx collaboration platform with its calling platform. Cisco in October announced WebEx for BroadWorks, which is a VoIP applications platform that service providers host.

Palo Alto
The security provider rolled out 5G-compatible features.
Several of Palo Alto's next-gen firewalls now cooperate with 5G protocol and network interfaces. Executives say the 5G security entails a more containerized, multi-cloud approach, opposed to the perimeter-centric emphasis of 4G LTE security.

Masergy
The software-defined networking provider continue to turn to a "best-of-breed" approach for its secure access service edge (SASE) offering.
Masergy integrated the Bitglass cloud access security broker (CASB) into its platform. Although the vendors had already been partnering around CASB, Masergy had been offering a standalone CASB offering.
Masergy also expanded its Fortinet partnership to add next-generation firewalls into each Masergy point-of-presence.

Avant
The Chicago-based master agent introduced a tool that will help partners discuss UCaaS with their customers.
The UCaaS Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Assessment Tool resides on the Avant Pathfinder application. Partners can use it to demonstrate the cost-saving potential of migrating to cloud-based UCaaS.

RingCentral
The UCaaS vendor expanded its partnership with BT to meet demand in the U.K.
BT tapped RingCentral UK's Cloud Work as its lead UCaaS and CCaaS solution. The offering combines voice, video and team messaging.
"Together with BT, we are working to help businesses transition to more digital and remote ways of working so they can maintain business continuity," RingCentral's vice president of global partner programs said.

The U.K. carrier also added an SD-WAN solution to its portfolio.
BT is utilizing the VMware VeloCloud product as part of a larger managed network service offering. The company is gearing the service toward multinational customers.

Granite
Granite Telecommunications added an SD-WAN vendor to its portfolio.
The company will provide managed services around 128 Technology's solution. Granite offers services for numerous SD-WAN vendors, such as VMware and Cisco.

Net2Phone
The cloud communications provider expanded into a new country.
Net2Phone now serves Peru, Brazil, Argentina and Colombia. It also expanded into new Brazilian cities.

Ooma
Ooma unveiled a new conferencing and collaboration platform.
The new offering, dubbed Ooma Meetings, can run within Chrome, Safari or Edge, rather than requiring an installation. An interesting feature of the offering is the ability for users to share their screens simultaneously.

Broadvoice
The UCaaS provider introduced a text messaging and marketing platform.
Broadvoice Bubble helps businesses more easily contact their customers on their mobile devices. Partners can harness Bubble as an upsell activity.
