Tech Data announced two new offerings in collaboration with Cisco and IBM.

Windstream
The Windstream Enterprise UCaaS Mitel Platform has been upgraded, enhancing its value for businesses seeking an enterprise-class UC offering that integrates voice, multimedia, unified messaging, mobility and other services onto a single, unified platform.
The version 4.0 release includes add-on features for free, next-generation MiCollab Desktop Client, and a portal with expanded tool sets for enhanced administration. In 2013, Windstream entered an agreement with Mitel to offer the company’s MiVoice and MiCollab offerings in a fully managed, cloud-based UCaaS, powered by Mitel’s MiCloud for service providers.

Masergy
Masergy unveiled a new managed cloud access security broker (CASB) offering for managing SaaS security risks.
The company extended its unified enterprise security managed detection and response (MDR) platform to include managed CASB. Masergy is partnering with Bitglass for a turnkey offering that includes visibility, threat detection and response, data protection, and identity and access management. The solution will combat "shadow IT."

AT&T-Google
AT&T and Google Cloud announced a new partnership that will provide improved collaboration and cloud networking to business customers.
That comes via Google's new Partner Interconnect, which allows business customers to use AT&T NetBond for Cloud to connect to the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The new alliance also makes G Suite, Google’s cloud-based productivity suite for business, including Gmail, Docs and Drive, available through AT&T Collaborate, the hosted voice and collaboration offering for businesses of all sizes.

Sprint
Sprint has a new online IoT marketplace.
The wireless carrier announced its IoT Factory, a digital store with boxed IoT offerings. Sprint has partnered with myDevices and The Goldie Group to launch the marketplace. myDevices delivers the boxed solutions, and The Goldie Group provides telecom services that scale IoT connectivity. Customers and partners can access IoT offerings directly.

Dell EMC
Dell EMC unveiled new storage and server technologies, hyperconverged infrastructure and cloud offerings.
The company said the latest offerings are designed to power what it calls the modern data center, and to help customers achieve their IT, security and workforce transformations. Dell and Dell EMC will provide AI, machine learning and deep-learning capabilities from the desktop to the data center.

Tech Data
The distributor broadened its Cisco offerings for U.S. partners with expansion of the Tech Data Cisco Partner Enablement Framework, designed to use Tech Data’s Practice Builder methodology.
The latest offer is targeted at new Cisco partners, existing ones interested in building out their practices, and large two-tier partners that want to diversify with technical specialization, vertical expertise or geographic expansion, according to the distributor.
Tech Data also added IBM MaaS360 with Watson, a unified endpoint management (UEM) offering, to its StreamOne Cloud Marketplace.

Pax8
Cloud distributor Pax8 launched a new website business-intelligence tool to help managed service providers add cloud applications to their stacks and up-sell to customers.
Pax8 Stax helps MSPs see technology gaps in order to identify areas of opportunity with their existing customers. Pax8 says that Stax lets MSPs add multiple vendor solutions across product categories and gives metrics that show what their customers are buying and what cloud products are missing from their lineups.

Dell Boomi
Dell Boomi, a Dell business unit and provider of cloud integration software, enhanced its platform with IoT connectivity, integration accelerators and features that help developers quickly create low-code workflow applications.
Boomi’s management tools let developers create, test, update, delete and audit application-integration processes throughout this environment. A run-time engine called Boomi Atom lets IoT data flow to a company’s applications, whether in the cloud or on premises.

Nutanix
Nutanix updated Beam, its software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering that delivers multicloud governance so organizations can manage their spending, security and regulatory compliance across nearly any cloud platform.
The company also announced Nutanix Flow, a software-defined networking (SDN) offering for application visibility across multiple clouds, and Nutanix Era, a new set of enterprise platform-as-a-service (PaaS) offerings to streamline and automate database operations.

CloudJumper
CloudJumper, which provides workspaces as a service, added streaming app services to its Cloud Workspace Management Suite.
The new functionality extends efficiency and usability by right-sizing resources. It also helps solve application conflicts. The multicloud streaming application platform provides flexible, consistent and reliable application and data delivery for cloud-forward ISVs and application service providers, the vendor said.

Pivot3
The hyperconverged infrastructure vendor announced workload mobility and disaster recovery to public clouds across AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud, as part of its multiphased hybrid-cloud strategy.
The latest offering allows users to migrate any application workload and data to AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud, and then be able to stand that up as a disaster-recovery environment as needed. A partnership between Pivot3 and CloudEndure, a vendor of workload mobility and disaster recovery technology, enabled the offering.

Zerto
Zerto announced IT Resilience, which converges backup, disaster recovery and cloud mobility solutions into a single platform.
The vendor also unveiled Zerto 7, a glimpse into the vendor’s road map and its vision for backup — an offer that will be available early next year. Zerto’s new scalable platform targets the continuous business of the cloud.

Pax8 launched a new intelligence tool, and Tech Data increased its integration with Cisco products. Tech Data also announced a new offering in collaboration with IBM Watson.
Infrastructure and storage were two of the hotter technologies to see new products and services launch last month, with Pivot3 announcing new disaster-recovery offerings for public clouds.
AT&T announced a new partnership with Google, which debuted a new service. And Windstream upgraded its Mitel-powered UCaaS.
