New SolarWinds MSP N-central Mobile App Enables Constant RMM Capabilities
SolarWinds N-central users can now view the health of networks under their management from any iOS or Android device
SolarWinds MSP today released a mobile app that allows its IT solution provider and MSP customers to manage remote monitoring and management platform SolarWinds N-central from iOS and Android devices.
The app lets users manage dashboards and gain full visibility into customers’ networks, endpoints, and servers from their mobile device. The goal is to further enable partners to respond to network threats in real time.
“Real-time response and remote resolution are becoming the new normal,” Greg Lissy, VP, Product Management, SolarWinds MSP told Channel Futures. “Having the ability to securely manage remediation from a mobile device is a big win for our partners and the customers they serve. It brings greater serviceability and freedom to the MSP and helps deliver an exceptional customer experience.”
Customers expect always-on, always-connected service from their IT service providers, who want the flexibility that mobile solutions offer.
Jamie Wolbeck, Vice President of Technical Operations at SUCCESS Computer Consulting, a SolarWinds partner, says that if he wants his customers to view him as a trusted partner, SUCCESS has to be able to manage IT operations as quickly and efficiently as possible. The N-central app is another tool that helps the company achieve that goal.
Wolbeck says that being able to fulfill that customer expectation makes the SolarWinds N-central mobile app “an outstanding addition to our remote management platform, giving us even greater flexibility to be there whenever and wherever our customers need us most. And, it saves us a ton of time so we can focus on adding even more value to our services.”
The app enables mobile activation of security features and gives full visibility into networks, endpoints, and servers. Users can manage hardware and software monitoring and fully manage assets. The app also allows users to control customers’ desktops, including permission to transfer files and deliver remote commands.
