ObserveIT has announced the launch of its first global partner program, pushing its user activity monitoring solutions to U.S. partners for the first time.

The new program, called Resellers, Alliance, Managed Services Providers (RAMP), features a standard set of partner discounts, training and certifications familiar to channel regulars, including enhanced marketing support, lead sharing and co-marketing funds.

The program will also include a JumpStart incentive to provide a guaranteed 30 percent margin on new business registered with ObserveIT. The JumpStart incentive will be available through July, according to the company.

“Customers demand simple to deploy security and compliance solutions that provide visibility into user activity and business risk,” said Marc Potter, vice president of Worldwide Business Development and Strategic Alliances for ObserveIT, in a statement. “The ObserveIT RAMP program unites partners and ObserveIT’s technology to deliver rapid security and compliance to enhance business value.”

While the Tel Aviv-based security provider has been selling its products through the channel internationally since it launched in 2009, the new partner program marks the beginning of ObserveIT’s formal dealings with partners in the United States and the U.K. The company’s solutions are being introduced to North American audiences at a time when administrators are beginning to question whether or not their current security solutions are enough to protect important company data, noted Paul Brady, CEO of ObserveIT.

“The product is unique and differentiated. We’re really starting to see high levels of growth at a time that most security officers and folks in IT are more and more understanding that they haven’t properly accounted for user-based risk,” said Brady, in an interview with The VAR Guy. “This is something new and innovative that they can bring to their customers at a time when the customer is realizing ‘this is a gap in my security portfolio.’”

ObserveIT is the second company this week to introduce a new global partner program, along with traffic visibility solution provider Gigamon.
