Partners, Analysts: Avaya Road Back from Bankruptcy to Be 'Long and Arduous'
Most partners and analysts we spoke with aren't too optimistic about Avaya bouncing back.

“The road back to relevancy and profitability [for Avaya post-bankruptcy] is going to be long and arduous. Frankly, I don’t see the commitment and self-honesty to believe they can make it. They went from a position of market dominance to being passed by rather quickly. I don’t think that has truly sunk in. They’ve become that one friend that steers every conversation to how cool they were back in the day while everyone else is moving on.”
“Avaya is widely considered to have a composable CPaaS offering. It is Avaya’s second bankruptcy in six years. However, it is too large of an organization to fail. A fraction of its partners will indeed try and transition their current customers to competing platforms, but communication solution re-architecture is a non-trivial undertaking.”
