Telecom Consulting Group (TCG) will offer the “fiber-rich” portfolio of RCN, Grande and Wave Business Solutions.

The Florida-based company, along with its 4,000 subagents, has joined the cable operator’s master agent program. RCN Telecom Services, Grande Communications and Wave Broadband came together two years ago and merged their agent programs.

“The addition of TCG to our agent channel program highlights our dedication to providing competitive options to partners leveraging our rich fiber distribution network,” said Patrick Knorr, chief commercial officer of RCN, Grande, and Wave Business Solutions. “RCN, Grande and Wave Business Solutions and TCG’s relationship will enable more customers to access competitive options in major metro markets as well as the many unique markets and routes within our national footprint.”

Partnering with the organization gives TCG and its subagents access to new high-speed internet, cloud networking, voice and connectivity services. TCG’s recent supplier partnerships include  cybersecurity provider Cybraics, Brazilian telco Nova Soluções, communications-focused SaaS provider Kerauno and BullsEye Telecom.

Private equity firm TPG Capital bought RCN and Grande in 2016 and announced that it would back them in their nearly $2.4 billion purchase of Wave. The combination of the three companies closed in early 2018.

The AT&T Channel recently honored TCG as a gold-level solution provider champion.
