Zenith Infotech has launched a NOC Service Miles rewards initiative as part of its Network Operations Center partner program. The NOC Services Miles effort allows Zenith partners to earn monthly service credits that can be redeemed for project work executed by Zenith’s NOC. Here are the potential implications for managed services providers (MSPs).

According to Zenith, projects that can be completed under the program include:

  • Installing Blackberry servers;

  • Configuring or migrating Exchange;

  • Installing software;

  • Optimizing desktops; and

  • Troubleshooting applications.

True believers apparently include Dan Wilson, president and CEO of Waypoint Solutions Group, an MSP that has been expanding through mergers and acquisitions over the past year. Wilson, an MSPmentor 250 member, endorsed the NOC Services Miles effort in a prepared statement.

The NOC Services Miles program surfaces one month after Zenith vowed to remain in the NOC and RMM (remote monitoring and management) software market. Competition in the outsourced NOC market is particularly fierce, with rivals like NetEnrich and Synnex reaching out to MSPs. Moreover, Doyenz — a cloud disaster recovery specialist, has been targeting Zenith’s BRD (backup and disaster recovery) business.

We’ve reached out to Zenith for more information on its various platform growth strategies.
