Microsoft Dynamics CRM Upsell Opportunity: Broadlook Suite
The Microsoft (MSFT) Dynamics CRM business remains strong. Now, channel partners have an upsell opportunity with Broadlook CRM Data Quality Suite.

Amid all of the questions about Microsoft’s (MSFT) business focus, one thing is clear: Demand for the company’s server- and cloud-based business applications remains strong. And in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM market, third-party tools for partners and customers continue to emerge. The latest example: Broadlook Technologies has launched a CRM Data Quality Suite for Microsoft Dynamics. Here’s the update.
The suite is designed for CRM, sales, marketing automation and recruitment professionals. For VARs, this could be a new opportunity to upsell and cross-sell existing Dynamics CRM customers.
According to a prepared statement from Broadlook, the company’ CRM Data Quality Suite:
streamlines the importing of individual and group contacts;
assures compliance with internal CRM and Master Data Management standards;
allows the merging of multiple lists; and
enables automatic maintenance, enrichment and discovery of contact level data.
Amid all the changes at Microsoft — a pending CEO change, a channel chief change and the Nokia cellphone business acquisition — the company’s business software sales remain strong. Microsoft’s CRM business grew about 26 percent in 2012 and now represents a $1 billion annual revenue stream, according to gartner.
While some channel partners are struggling to profit from Microsoft’s increasingly mobile-focused business (Surface, Windows Phone 8), the CRM Dynamics opportunity remains healthy. And Broadlook Technologies’ add-on software seems like a clear upsell opportunity — assuming the offering works as advertised.
