SAP most recently introduced the SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud service to provide organizations with a new deployment option to gain immediate value from the SAP HANA technology. Now partners are able to run applications on top of SAP's in-memory database technology. Hosting partners are not able to run the service at the moment, but SAP said they will be able to in the future.

Dell (NASDAQ: DELL) made a recent move to enable customers to deploy Dell server, storage, and networking systems running SAP HANA. Dell said the solution optimizes SAP solution workloads, simplifies ordering and speed deployment, provides enterprise-class operation and performance, and reduces time to value. The solution is currently available in EMEA and the United States.
