Everything’s changed in the channel, and that means leadership skills must do the same. Vennard Wright, president of Wave Welcome, will team with panelists Corey Kerns, vice president and general manager of Collabrance, James Phillips, CIO of Rev.io, and Kathryn Rose, founding CEO of channelWise, for an interactive discussion on the skills leaders need to move their organizations forward. The cyberthreat landscape is dominated by ransomware attacks, popular because of their low-risk, high-reward nature. Channel partners must know how to help their partners prevent an attack or, if the worst happens, guide them through it. A quartet of security industry all-stars — Tony Anscombe, chief security evangelist at ESET, Kevin Johnson, vice president of product strategy at NFINIT, Etay Maor, senior director of security strategy at Cato Networks, and Ray Watson, vice president of technology at Masergy Communications — will provide expert advice on navigating ransomware strategies from preventing it to surviving it.

The peer group will meet year-round (in-person at industry events and in video conference at other times) to share business wisdom and best practices.

The All-Star Speaker Series assembles panels of industry experts. This conference will feature three such panels — one on leadership, one on marketing and one on cybersecurity. The members of each of these panels are all recognized industry thought leaders. They will provide insights, advice and actionable takeaways in their respective areas of expertise.
The Channel Futures Peer Groups will enable participants to conduct closed-door conversations about the business of being a channel partner. Intended for those in the the communications channel, the Channel Futures Cybersecurity Peer Group is for MSPs, MSSPs, MCCPs, security-focused consultants, specialists, technology providers and agent/tech advisers.
