Aryaka Managed VPN to Offer Improved Access for Anywhere Workers
Aryaka partners now have access to security-as-a-service.
Aryaka on Thursday unveiled its new managed VPN for hybrid workplaces and the anywhere worker.
With SmartSecure Private Access, employees can securely move between on-premises and remote office locations while experiencing predictable application performance.
The managed VPN uses a global point of presence (POP)-based service architecture with built-in WAN optimization.
Aryaka’s Dave Ginsburg
David Ginsburg is vice president of product and solutions at Aryaka.
“Previously, partners had access to the Aryaka SmartServices portfolio,” he said. “In the current environment, some investment is shifting to service remote workers, and CIOs are shifting from capex to opex. We now have the new Private Access offer to address this shift. And partners in turn can propose this to their prospects.”
In addition, security is increasingly an integral part of any SD-WAN evaluation, Ginsburg said.
“And Private Access, combined with our other security capabilities, permits us and [partners] to fully participate in and address these conversations,” he said. “As part of our cloud-first WAN they now have a security-as-a-service offer.”
Supporting All Workers
The managed VPN offers partners a tightly integrated solution that supports both on-premises and now remote workers, Ginsberg said. There’s no longer a need to work with multiple vendors and technologies.
“They can show that this creates a better end-user experience, as well as offering more flexibility, simplicity and a lower TCO for CIOs,” he said. “We’re already seeing some major wins via partners where customers have realized these advantages.”
SmartSecure Private Access will help partners better meet their customers’ changing needs due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Ginsberg said.
“It better enables the hybrid workplace, and shows customers that partners understand their agility and application performance needs,” he said.
“The big advantage with Aryaka Private Access is it offers an architecture that tightly couples SD-WAN branch and remote office solutions with the same orchestration and security architecture,” said Lee Doyle, principal analyst at Doyle Research.
The Private Access solution complements Aryaka’s managed firewall offerings with Check Point Software, Palo Alto Networks and others.
