Burstorm Appoints Longtime Exec to Board

Burstorm, a provider of cloud enablement software and consulting services, has added the former president and COO of SAVVIS to its board.

Jack Finlayson, who most recently led Layered Tech Inc., will help guide Burstorm’s growth strategy. Finlayson served as head of SAVVIS during the integration of Cable and Wireless America and company’s IPO process. CenturyLink bought SAVVIS in 2011.

Prior to SAVVIS, Finlayson worked in top roles at Global Crossing, Motorola and AT&T.
