PRESS RELEASE — CHANNEL PARTNERS CONFERENCE & EXPO — Console Connect (booth 2031), a leading Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) platform, and StackPath, the most complete and integrated edge computing platform for latency sensitive and decentralized applications, announced today that businesses can now use the Console Connect platform to connect to the StackPath cloud.

With the public internet no longer suitable for mission-critical applications and workloads, this new partnership provides a way for businesses to improve security and performance for their internet-based applications and workloads by using the Console Connect platform to establish dedicated links to StackPath Virtual Machines and Containers.

Console Connect allows users to self-provision private, high-performance connections among a global ecosystem of enterprises, networks, clouds, SaaS providers, IoT providers, and application providers. Unlike other NaaS platforms, Console Connect delivers connectivity to the cloud across its own high-performance network, which features a redundant and resilient global subsea cable network.

The platform also helps businesses accelerate their multi-cloud journey and offers direct connect services to all major cloud providers, including AWS, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud and more. Using CloudRouter, businesses can click and connect between different clouds without the need to install, manage or maintain any equipment.

Using Console Connect’s self-service portal or API, businesses can now create their own point-to-point Layer 2 or Layer 3 connections to StackPath, with the ability to scale bandwidth in real-time to meet the needs of their businesses. Thanks to the recently launched Edge Port service, businesses can now access Console Connect’s range of on-demand connectivity services from their office location in 10 markets worldwide, including Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, South Africa, the UK and the US. Customers can also access the Console Connect platform from over 900 data centre locations in more than 50 countries worldwide.

Businesses can use Console Connect to establish dedicated links to in Los Angeles, Chicago, and Singapore edge locations, with more edge locations to follow. Businesses can order StackPath’s solutions through the Console Connect MeetingPlace.
