Imperva Launches PartnerSphere Cloud Alliance (PCA)

By samdizzy

Imperva, a data security specialist, has unveiled its PartnerSphere Cloud Alliance (PCA) program. The PCA program is designed for managed security service providers (MSSP), hosting and cloud providers. I could be wrong, but it looks like PCA is more for Imperva’s cloud customers rather than channel partners that resell Imperva’s SecureSphere Web Application Firewall. Also, Imperva introduced the PartnerSphere Technology Alliance — which includes relationships with WhiteHat Security and Net Optics.

The PCA program, overseen by Imperva VP of Worldwide Channels Chris Cesio, ensures Imperva channel partners have met three core criteria:

  • Partner owns and operates a secure network operations center;

  • Demonstrated ability, with certified sales and technical staff, to implement Imperva’s data security products;

  • Staffed to deliver ongoing and reliable 24/7 support.

Initial certified PCA partners include Firehost, Incapsula, Nexusguard Network Integration Services (NIS), Rackspace, Savvis, Seccom Global, SecureWorks, Security On Demand and Solutionary. According to the Imperva press release, each partner has deployed the Imperva SecureSphere Web Application Firewall (WAF).

Meanwhile, Imperva also unviled the PartnerSphere Technology Alliance — which includes initial relationships iwth WhiteHat Security and Net Optics. Imperva and WhiteHat Security have joined forces to offer a closed-loop process to identify and mitigate website vulnerabilities. And an Imperva partnership with Net Optics will allow customers to protect network and web applications in 10G environments.
