Microsoft Office 365 Cloud Migrations: Quest Assists Partners

Microsoft continues to beta test the Office 365 cloud platform. But once Office 365 reaches general availability — potentially July 1 or soonerQuest Software will be standing by to assist channel partners and customers with Office 365 migrations.

Indeed, Quest has expended its migration and coexistence services to include Office 365. The Quest services will help partners and customers migrate to Office 365 from Lotus Notes, Attachmate-Novell GroupWise, Google Gmail and on-premises Exchange. As reported, Office 365 is Microsoft’s all-on SaaS platform, offering Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Lync Online and other cloud applications.

Quest has extensive experience with Microsoft-related cloud migrations. For instance, Apptix has leveraged Quest’s software to migrate more than 200,000 users onto the Apptix cloud this year. The Apptix platform mostly runs hosted Exchange, hosted SharePoint and other Microsoft applications for end-customers.

Also, Quest and PointBridge, an IT consulting firm, are working together to migrate organizations’ mailboxes and applications to Microsoft Office 365, according to a prepared statement from PointBridge.
