New Cloud Technology Partners Solution to Kickstart AWS Adoption

Cloud Technology Partners (CTP) announced Tuesday it has launched a fixed-time, fixed-price offering called Cloud KickStart for Amazon Web Services (AWS), which it says can help enterprises reduce their “time to cloud” from up to a year to only six weeks.

Cloud Kickstart for AWS provides an enterprise-grade cloud environment with automation, security, governance and compliance controls.

“Regardless of whether clients are looking at one workload, multiple workloads, or an entire portfolio, transforming from on-premise to cloud-based IT requires a deep understanding of the best technologies, tools, and vendors to build the right end-to-end solution,” Robert Christiansen, Vice President and Cloud Adoption Practice Lead at Cloud Technology Partners said in a statement. “Cloud Kickstart for AWS takes the guess work out of standing up an enterprise-grade AWS environment and includes all the processes and tools you need to enable your team to safely and securely start provisioning cloud resources.”

The offering also includes reference architecture and tools from Trend Micro, Dome9 Arc, Vault, AWS Cloudwatch, Sumo Logic, Chef, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Git.

It features IPSec VPN connectivity to AWS, production and non-production platform common services VPC, Active Directory integration, AMI snapshot management, and an SDLC toolchain using best of breed automation tools.

Despite major gains by Microsoft, 451 Research reported in April that AWS remains the public cloud of choice for most enterprises.
