Oracle: Java 8 Will Boost Internet of Things (IoT), M2M Computing

Oracle (ORCL) is positioning Java as the de facto platform for building and managing the Internet of Things (IoT) and Machine to Machine (M2M) computing. Toward that end, Oracle claims the Java 8 release (coming in 2014) will help ISVs, OEMs and application developers to more effectively build and manage sensor and embedded solutions. So why should channel partners care? At Oracle OpenWorld 2013, The VAR Guy gathered these answers and insights.
