OS33 Inc., whose cloud tools run businesses cloud infrastructure, has updated its Cloud File Manager and OS33 WebTop.

The Brooklyn, N.Y.-based company sells only through channel partners, particularly those specializing in managed services. OS33s platform interfaces with public clouds such as those operated by Microsoft, Amazon, Google, GoGrid and Rackspace.

The upgrades mean users can access corporate files and Microsoft SharePoint from any Web browser and use OpenSocial gadgets such as stock tickers and calendars. Mobile users including iPad fans also now can get to company resources from their wireless devices through OS33.

We are enhancing the OS33 experience as part of our long-term goal of simplifying IT,” said OS33 President Jacob Kazakevich. By enabling users to not only view but also work on cloud-based files directly from the WebTop without third-party controls, without the need to migrate the existing file system to SharePoint, without additional login prompts and without costly licenses, we continue to provide an enhanced cloud service experience to all of our global customers.”
