Unified communications and collaboration (UCC) provider TetraVX has acquired Co-Mergent, a provider of Microsoft intelligent communications management and monitoring services.

TetraVX said the purchase will strengthen its existing product suite by adding AlertPro365, Co-Mergent’s enterprise-class monitoring and analytics platform built for cloud-based Microsoft offerings like TetraVX’s sVX Skype for Business Online and Teams. Financial details regarding the acquisition weren’t disclosed.

James Carroll, TetraVX’s partner and director of global sales, tells Channel Partners the acquisition will allow TetraVX’s partners to resell, wholesale, or white label AlertPro365 to their own client base, “providing them an added revenue source with their current and prospective clients.”

“By pairing TetraVX’s sVX and Co-Mergent’s AlertPro365 solutions, partners can provide a high-performing and reliable cloud-based Skype for Business solution alongside a centralized management platform for monitoring, alerting and reporting across a multivendor network ecosystem,” he said.

We recently compiled a list of 20 top UCaaS providers offering products and services via channel partners.

In addition to the expanded expertise around Microsoft products and services, TetraVX also will strengthen its Nectar professional service offerings because of Co-Mergent’s five-year strategic relationship with that organization.

“Co-Mergent’s partners can benefit in multiple ways,” Carroll said. “Partners who are using the AlertPro365 solution to monitor their client’s network can now not only identify issues but, with TetraVX’s backing, can provide their clients the remediation and support to solve those problems for optimal end-user experience. Partners can now refer or resell the TetraVX suite of solutions and services, including sVX (hosted Skype), cVX (hosted Cisco) and nVX.”

Also, Co-Mergent’s partners now can look to TetraVX as a one-stop shop for all things UCaaS, including hardware which Co-Mergent could not previously provide, he said.

According to Frost and Sullivan, UCC is a $39 billion market with a global user base exceeding 43 million, and is expected to sport a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 23 percent through 2023.

“This acquisition is further proof of our commitment to providing our channel partners world-class UCC solutions and supports our constant effort to provide the best possible call quality and end-user experience,” Carroll said.

As more and more organizations make the migration to Teams, TetraVX not only will be able to test call quality prior to implementation, but as a Microsoft cloud service provider, it can provide the licensing and training necessary for their client’s entire organization, the company said.

“I’m thrilled to be joining TetraVX’s leadership team and look forward to our newfound collaboration,” said John Dusek III, Co-Mergent’s CEO. “Merging our offerings with TetraVX’s brings Co-Mergent additional support and will allow us the resources to take on larger projects. Not only does this give AlertPro365 a larger backing that will assist in its growth, but it also provides TetraVX’s sVX customers with an added monitoring solution.”
