Data privacy management firm TrustArc has expanded its partner program to meet growth in global demand for privacy technology offerings.

The TrustArcConnect Partner Program expansion comes one year after the company rebranded from TRUSTe to TrustArc to reflect its transformation into a global provider of “technology-powered privacy solutions, backed by a 21-year track record of developing innovative compliance products.”

Phillippe Ortodoro, TrustArc’s vice president of EMEA channel sales, tells Channel Partners the program has been expanded both geographically and in the support the company is offering to its partners.

“First, geographically, we are now partnering in the Americas, Canada, South America, Asia, Europe and the Middle East,” he said. “While we offered excellent support to our first partners, we have expended our support to include additional tools, educational videos and more to ensure partners’ success.”

Increased reliance on technology has led to IT and information security teams playing a larger role in managing privacy at companies of all sizes, according to TrustArc. Many of these companies rely on channel partners to meet their IT and information security needs, it said.

The partner program allows resellers, SIs, digital agencies, law firms and consultancies to expand their offerings with the full range of privacy technology solutions in the TrustArc Privacy Platform.

The platform, which includes offerings to manage data mapping, risk assessments, website tracker scanning, consent management and more, is designed to support every privacy use case and “provides a proven and compelling addition to existing channel partner solution portfolios,” according to TrustArc.

“There has been an incredible surge in demand for TrustArc technology due to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) deadline, and additional concerns around cybersecurity,” Ortodoro said. “Our technology partners have also found innovative ways to combine our technology to provide unique solutions to meet clients’ needs.”

TrustArc operates globally with teams based in North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, and Latin America.

“We are committed to meeting the privacy requirements of customers of all sizes, in all functions, and across all geographies,” said Chris Babel, TrustArc’s CEO. “Our channel partners are key to meeting those market needs and helping us continue to connect customers around the world with our technology products. TrustArc has committed extensive resources to enable channel partners to augment their existing capabilities and quickly expand their sales with privacy-related solutions. With 21 years of privacy industry experience and seven years of experience operating a proven platform at high scale, TrustArc provides a unique opportunity for channel partners to expand their offerings.”
