Internap Network Services Corp. (NASDAQ: INAP) has added video advertising management agency Extreme Reach to its roster of customers, with Extreme Reach co-locating its infrastructure at Internap’s data center in Santa Clara, Calif.

Extreme Reach is known for its high-definition content and video-based ads, which are driving changes in web and mobile technology. According to the company, its network connects 2,000 advertisers and agencies with 1,000 commercial production houses and more than 18,000 media destinations in North America; it also has the only advertising platform in the industry integrating both online and TV ad campaigns.

“The value and innovation we deliver includes using the cloud to disrupt and modernize critical advertising processes, enabling brands and agencies to be more agile and ensuring the highest possible HD video quality, speed and reliability no matter where their commercials run, said Dan Brackett, CTO of Extreme Reach, in a prepared statement. “The scalability and performance of Internap’s co-location and IP services are critical to that process and to supporting us as we grow our business in the cloud.”

Earlier this week, Internap launched its Agile Hosting services. An online configurator, Agile Hosting allows enterprise customers to customize and provision both on-premise and cloud-based IT Infrastructure to meet increasing application demands, and is the first offering based on the technology Internap acquired when it bought Voxel in December 2011. At that time, Talkin’ Cloud commented on Internap’s lack of growth, and asked whether Voxel could boost its prospects. Talkin’ Cloud will keep watching Internap’s performance.
