Voxox Adds Toll-Free Phone Numbers to Cloud Phone Virtual PBX Service
Voxox today announced new features for its Cloud Phone virtual PBX service, including call screening, voicemail and web transcription capabilities.
Unified cloud communications (UCC) solutions provider Voxox has added international extensions, toll-free phone numbers and other new features to its Cloud Phone virtual PBX service.
Voxox said the Cloud Phone updates take the web-based telephony service’s functionality “beyond sophisticated call routing and a dedicated business phone number” for small businesses.
“We often see entrepreneurs using a personal cell phone number for business communication, which is often not ideal when you’re trying to build a strong business image,” Voxox CEO Bryan Hertz said in a prepared statement. “As this latest release demonstrates, we are fully committed to Cloud Phone’s ongoing, continuous evolution.”
Cloud Phone business customers now can:
Add extensions for international employees
Change caller ID
Purchase local and toll-free phone numbers
The release also offers access to new capabilities, including:
Call screening
Voicemail
Web transcription
Cloud Phone launched earlier this year and is designed for businesses with 10 or fewer employees.
Voxox describes the service as “a big-business phone system for your small business” because it requires minimal resources.
“Cloud Phone can be set up in under a minute and requires no special skills to adjust phone settings, add employees or add features,” said Ed Mallory, Voxox’s vice president of products. “It’s ideal for a busy entrepreneur who has no time and little budget to spend on IT.”
Voxox Cloud Phone Product Marketing Manager Setareh Motamedi told Talkin’ Cloud her company’s long-term mission is to provide a cost-effective, easy-to-manage telephony service for small businesses.
“In the long-term, we plan to continue delivering a unified platform in which a small business phone system can be managed from any device, such as tablet [or] computer, anytime, anywhere.”
A free 30-day Cloud Phone trial is available here.
