The Google Apps Marketplace has generated a lot of business for cloud integrators and SaaS developers who can connect their applications to the search giant’s productivity platform. And Zoho, which has built its business around providing SaaS enterprise tools like CRM and bug tracking, was one of the first companies to participate. And with the launch of their eleventh offering, application builder platform Zoho Creator, they’re the largest developer in the Google Apps Marketplace.

Zoho Creator’s mission, according to their product page, is to help Google Apps users create a custom business application specifically suited to their needs. Other benefits include full integration with the rest of Google’s suite, including adding all the users from your domain as a specialized field and attaching Google Docs files to your records. Moreover, Zoho claims it’s a snap to share these custom applications with other users on your Google Apps domain.

They’re really promoting Zoho Creator’s ability to enable agility (try saying that out loud). And I’ll bet there are Google Apps partners out there who could use this to build value-added services for their customers – Zoho may be promoting it as easy, but that’s why they have you as a trusted advisor, after all.

It’s the second app Zoho has launched this year, after Zoho Books. But we’re promised it’s not the last. So don’t touch that dial.
