CloudJumper Debuts Streaming App Services

CloudJumper, the workspace-as-a-service (WaaS) platform provider, said Tuesday that it has added streaming app services to its Cloud Workspace Management Suite. The new functionality extends efficiency and usability by right-sizing resources. It also helps solve application conflicts.

The multicloud streaming application platform provides flexible, consistent and reliable application and data delivery for cloud-forward ISVs and application service providers, the vendor said.

“The real benefit of Streaming App Services is to the MSP or ISV on how best to deliver an app and to be able to do that in a cost-effective manner,” Max Pruger, chief revenue officer at CloudJumper, told us. “We can now scale the server based on a specific app and deliver the app to multiple servers across multiple organizations all secured and siloed and independent.”

The economies of scale also trickle down to the end user customer, as well. And, to the end user, the streaming app service is transparent.

The CloudJumper Streaming App Service is a Windows application-delivery solution which allows ISVs and application service providers (ASPs) to offer cloud-enabled applications to business customers by simply and cost-effectively migrating to a cloud deployment model. The cloud-based service provides complete usage visibility for the provider, enabling higher levels of business mobility and agility for customers while reducing the time, resource and management requirements typically required for on-premises IT management. According to the vendor, Streaming App Service advantages include:

Earlier this year, CloudJumper acquired IndependenceIT, a provider of WaaS enablement software for the deployment of applications, data and complete workspaces in the cloud.
