Microsoft 365 is hugely popular, but many companies don’t realize that it doesn’t include built-in Microsoft 365 data backup. That means that business users must configure and manage their own comprehensive backups of the productivity suite’s data.
To ease that process, a wide range of software vendors provide on-premises or cloud backup capabilities for Microsoft 365 users. Even when businesses do their own frequent data backups, some types of Microsoft 365 files are typically left out. That can include Teams, Exchange email, chats, OneDrive, SharePoint, Planner, groups, shared folders and more.
Business users, though, don’t have to leave that data out of their comprehensive backups any longer. That’s where Microsoft 365 backup services can come in to help solve the problem for businesses of all sizes.
Microsoft recently renamed its former Microsoft Office 365 productivity suite and now calls it Microsoft 365. Some vendors still refer to their products using the older Office 365 name, at least for now.
