As Whoa.com’s cloud visionary, and vice president of compliance and security, Williams oversaw the deployment and secure compliance of the entire cloud stack for PCI DSS 3.2, HIPAA and ISO 27001:2013. Prior to that, he was the cloud architect at Windstream Hosted Solutions where he designed, secured and created the charge-back platforms for their latest-generation infrastructure for cloud.

“I have been working with the greatest minds in the cloud arena for several years and I am honored to work with such a strong and passionate team [that] is clearly focused on delivering the best solutions in the cloud industry today,” he said. “I look forward to making a positive and lasting impact and grow(ing) with this amazing forward-thinking organization.”

Brett Gheen, RapidScale’s director of architecture, said as his company continues to “build a globally recognized infrastructure and cloud service, Scott will bring many years of experience in design and documentation, system governance and security compliance.”

“I have no doubt that Scott’s contributions will help strengthen our direction and RapidScale’s core values,” he said.
