Channel People on the Move: Broadvoice, Intelisys, TPx, More
While many of you were preparing Thanksgiving dinner, some of your friends, colleagues and competitors were preparing for new jobs.
TPx's John Lepore and Tanya Palmateer
Managed services carrier TPx promoted John Lepore to director of channel sales for the New York Tri-State area. He was a channel manager at DSCI when TPx acquired the company last year. He has 20 years of experience with new technology and building channel programs.
New at TPx is Tanya Palmateer, the company's Southwest channel manager, who most recently worked at ShoreTel as a partner business manager.

Broadvoice's Alan Kaplan
Broadvoice, the hosted voice, UC and SIP trunking provider, hired Alan Kaplan as channel manager for the Midwest.
Kaplan has more than 20 years of channel management experience. Prior to joining Broadvoice, he spent several years as a channel manager with Broadview Networks. He also was a channel executive at MegaPath, PaeTec (now Windstream) and TelePacific (now TPx).

Intelisys' Thomas Legare
Master agent Intelisys continued to grow its team with the hiring of Thomas Legare, the company's eighth solutions engineer.
Legare most recently held multiple senior leadership positions with Windstream, including manager of sales engineering and senior network design specialist. Prior to his tenure with Windstream, he served as a sales executive with AT&T for 16 years.

Dell EMC's Joyce Mullen
Dell EMC‘s Joyce Mullen is the new leader of the company's global channels business. She takes over after running OEM and IoT for the storage and cloud giant.
John Byrne, who has been leading Dell EMC’s global channels for the past year and a half, is taking control of North America commercial sales, the company’s largest commercial market.
Tech Data's Kevin Kennedy
Tech Data promoted Kevin Kennedy, previously the distribution giant's VP of supplier solutions for HPE, to senior vice president of sales, enterprise solutions, Americas.
In his new role, Kennedy will lead the enterprise sales team and help drive performance and growth across the organization, while deepening Tech Data’s capacity and value to its customers.
AireSpring's Don Greenstein
AireSpring promoted Don Greenstein (pictured), a 15-year veteran of the company, to vice president of account management, responsible for oversight of all account management teams.
In his prior role as vice president of operations, Greenstein helped to develop many of the company’s operations systems and procedures. Most recently, he has been tasked with integrating sales and operations systems for the AireSpring network.

AireSpring also hired Tim Chenoweth, formerly of Windstream, as director of voice vendor management.
RapidScale's Louis Valentino
RapidScale hired Louis Valentino, previously with TierPoint, as director of service delivery, charged with managing and leading the cloud engineers responsible for client implementations, procurement and escalated technical support for customers.
Prior to joining RapidScale, Valentino was vice president and general manager for TierPoint in North Carolina.

Nitel's Nate James
Managed telecom service provider Nitel appointed Nate James, previously with Windstream, as vice president of account management.
With more than 15 years of experience in business development and sales, James will oversee Nitel’s national account-development organization. He will focus on establishing programs and initiatives designed to enhance the customer experience.

Pax8's Jennifer Bodell
Pax8, the born-in-the-cloud distributor, promoted Jennifer Bodell (pictured) to VP of channel. In her new role, Bodell is responsible for strategic direction of the company's field marketing efforts and key IT channel relationships.
The company also promoted Don Jeter to VP or marketing, following the appointment of Ryan Walsh as channel chief.

TierPoint's Alvaro Gonzalez
TierPoint, the hybrid IT solutions provider, named Alvaro Gonzalez assistant VP, channel. Gonzalez joined TierPoint from Peak 10. Before that, he held business development, sales, and sales engineering roles for Corbus and Cincinnati Bell.
In his new role, Gonzalez is responsible for helping lead the growth of channel sales nationally, working with TierPoint’s channel directors to develop, educate and enable existing partners, as well as recruiting and onboarding new partners.

Ubersmith, the subscription business management software company, launched its first partner program and named Jeremy Chang head of business development. He previously was chief operating officer at Fil Doux Textiles.
