Ingram hosted its “Solutions Showcase” in Ryman Hall inside the Gaylord Nashville.
The Solutions Showcase room functioned as the spot of the welcome reception on Monday night. Attendees enjoyed complimentary food and beveraged and mingled with exhibitors.
Ingram divided the floor by technologies and verticals, including modern infrastructure, unified communications and collabpration (UCC) and retail.
BlackBerry was on hand at Ingram Micro. Its booth featured Cylance, the endpoint security provider BlackBerry bought several years ago.
Though commonly associated with smartphones, BlackBerry engages in cybersecurity, and the company has invested in supporting partners like managed security services providers (MSSPs).
Ericsson-owned Cradlepoint hosted a booth in the Solutions Showcase.
The wireless WAN provider recently upped its security capabilities with the acquisition of Ericom and enhanced its MSP program.

Also fun for T-Mobile was announcing a five-year partnership to serve Boston Children’s Hospital’s clinical mobility and digital workflows. Health care-focused IT consultancy Pixel Health is the channel partner involved with the project, and Ingram is the participating distributor.

INGRAM MICRO ONE — Some of the largest vendors in the IT world are headed home after a week at Ingram Micro One in Nashville.
The distribution giant hosted its annual conference at the Gaylord Opryland Convention Center. Ingram Micro announced several new resources at the event. Those include new learning tracks and a virtual integration lab for its Data Center and Hybrid Cloud Center of Excellence; a staff augmentation service; and a mobile version of its widely publicized Xvantage platform.
In the meantime, attendees gathered in the Solutions Showcase expo hall to network with vendors and see demos of different technology platforms. The supplier list included massive hyperscalers like Amazon Web Services, network infrastructure providers such as Juniper Networks, cybersecurity companies like Fortinet, and MSP-focused platforms such as MSP Builder.
Those companies shared their value propositions with partners, who were strolling across the show floor and mulling the prospect of expanding their line cards.
