AireSpring Inc. (Booths 313-315) announces it is launching a Unified National Local Network service for immediate sale by its channel partners.

We think we are the only reseller to have as many carriers as we do both in the local and long-distance sides, says Daniel Lonstein, senior vice president of marketing for AireSpring.

AireSpring has resale deals with MCI, Global Crossing Ltd., Qwest Communications International Inc. and Broadwing Communications LLC for long-distance services. In addition to a standing agreement with XO Communications Inc., AireSpring recently added MCI and Broadwing (formerly the Focal network) as its underlying local service providers, giving it presence in more than 90 major national markets.

Lonstein says the company plans to close agreements with two or three additional CLECs as well.

We feel that as a reseller we can offer not just better pricing, but a value-add over a facilities-based carrier with only one network by combining multiple networks into a virtual network both on the long-distance and the local side, says Lonstein.

Commissions on local services range from 10 percent to 40 percent, he says.
