Forget Platinum, Intelisys Names First 'Palladium' Partner

The company reached $5 million in monthly net customer billings with Intelisys before any other partner.

Intelisys just handed out a $1 million check to a top sales partner.

RDS Solutions has earned palladium status with the master agent as a reward for reaching $5 million in monthly net customer billings. No other agent has reached the palladium tier.

Intelisys launched its Drive for 5 program in 2015, promising $1 million to the first company that attained the $5 million goal.

RDS has partnered with Intelisys since RDS’ founding in 2005. The partner offers voice, data, cloud and other telecommunications services, in addition to consulting and professional services.

“The RDS Solutions team is delighted to be the first Intelisys palladium partner,” said Darren Jones, managing partner at RDS Solutions. “Intelisys has been a great partner to us for the past 15 years, and we’re excited to represent our partnership at this level. We look forward to future growth and success together.”

J.R. Vernick, also managing partner at RDS, said the company used the cash to dole out employee bonuses. It also donated to Michael’s Feat and Telecom for Change.

“We’re thrilled to have won Drive for 5, especially in a year like 2020. It feels like a fresh start and allows us to continue momentum into 2021,” Vernick said.

Six members of the Intelisys sales partner community, including RDS, held platinum status when the master agent the Drive for 5 initiative. Now more than two dozen partners hold platinum status.

The RDS team cleaned up at last fall’s Intelisys partner awards, winning top billing partner, top cable partner and top East region revenue growth.
