“Cohere built a solid cybersecurity foundation for its client base in the New York area and beyond,” said Steve Lewis, Dataprise CEO. “Their robust, layered security approach complements Dataprise’s managed cybersecurity offerings that are built at scale with world-class technology and supported by an elite team. By joining Dataprise, Cohere’s employees and clients will benefit from a greater geographic reach, an extended network of IT professionals, and a robust solution set designed to support and protect organizations end to end.”

Mary Beth Hamilton, Dataprise’s chief marketing officer, said partners benefit from Dataprise’s acquisition of Cohere Cyber Secure “as we can now bring partner services into even more clients.”

“With more than 2,000 clients across the United States, Dataprise can provide impressive access to growing and mid-sized customers across highly-regulated industries who trust our guidance and managed services,” she said. “This acquisition expands Dataprise’s capabilities in two key areas. First it grows Dataprise’s client service delivery team in New York City allowing for more feet on the street in NYC to support clients who require onsite support. It also expands Dataprise’s cybersecurity team by adding additional analysts and threat hunters to further bolster our security operations center (SOC) and MSSP operation.”

Many of Cohere Cyber Secure’s existing partners are also Dataprise partners, Hamilton said.

“For those that aren’t already in the Dataprise portfolio ,we will be exploring what business opportunities lie ahead,” she said.

Steve Francesco, Cohere Cyber Secure’s chairman and CEO, said businesses in finance and highly-regulated industries need an IT partner that delivers a complete portfolio of technology solutions that scale, secure and fully support their users.
