“This acquisition extends the Fidelis Cybersecurity active XDR platform to include cloud security and compliance,” he said. “This addition delivers a holistic view of the enterprise to help organizations to find cloud vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and to detect and respond to threats earlier in the attack lifecycle. We will be holding training and outreach sessions for our partners. In these sessions, we will review in more detail the key cloud security and compliance problems that the CloudPassage Halo product platform addresses and its unique lightweight approach.
Fidelis goes to market through channel partners, Ghosh said.
“We see big opportunity, particularly for partners who have an increasing demand to deliver cloud security solutions,” he said. “This includes MDR partners who are differentiating their offerings with cloud security monitoring and compliance services for their customers.”

Unified Solution
Carson Sweet is CloudPassage’s founder and CEO.
“Digital transformation is driving cloud adoption to new heights, and enterprises are fast recognizing that full-stack security is critical for cloud security,” he said. “The combination of Fidelis’ … XDR capabilities and CloudPassage’s battle-tested CSPM, CWPP and container security automation will give the market the powerful, unified solution it has needed to secure both cloud-based application stacks and the network connectivity that enables them.”
Sweet will assume the role of chief cloud security officer at Fidelis Cybersecurity. CloudPassage’s team will be integrated into the Fidelis Cybersecurity organization. It will continue Halo product development and integration with the Fidelis XDR platform.
